I know, when a well-meaning stranger says it while your 3-year-old is having a meltdown in the cereal aisle, it makes you want to rage. But it’s true! And because it’s true, you deserve photos that document exactly who your family is RIGHT NOW.

Kids are so confidently weird. They’re dreamers and scientists and drama queens and world explorers. And I am HERE. FOR. IT.
I follow a kid-centered approach to lifestyle family photography. That means I take care to learn about your family so I can immediately help your kids feel included. Worried your kid is going to be actin’ a fool? Trust me — we’ve all been there as parents, and it’s nothing I haven’t seen before!
And can I let you in on a little secret? When your kids feel involved, you will be less stressed. You’ll be able to just chill with your family, not be worried about behavior or outfits. (And you can definitely tell the difference in the photos.)

I love both sessions equally, but I want to give a little shout out to in-home sessions. There’s just something magical about pictures in your own home — your kids showing off their rooms, the built-in comfort it gives everyone, the family pet getting in on the action!
Okay, but here’s the important bit: Your in-home session is about how you LIVE in your space. Not about creating a showroom.
I’m focused on your connection as a family, not the dishes in the sink. I will look for the best natural light in your home, so if you want to de-clutter at all, focus on those spaces. And if weather allows, we’ll go outside! I love grabbing shots of your family playing in your backyard or on the front porch!

Prepping
Before your session, I’ll share thoughtful guides and questionnaires designed to get to know you. My goal: Answer your questions before you even have them. You can expect easy tips for prepping kids, ideas for outfit coordination, and guidance on choosing outdoor locations. Have more questions? I’m always an email away :)
During your session
Our session mantra: let kids be kids (what a concept!). That means it might get a little wild, but trust me — when you see that dimpled, joyful grin because they just gave the biggest lion roar, it’ll all be worth it. I’ll always guide you and share prompts, but I work hard to never over-direct. The best sessions are when you forget the camera is ever there.
Picture delivery
Within 2 weeks of our session, you can expect access to your image slideshow. You’ll choose the collection that fits your family best — each comes with a certain number of digitals + a print credit. You’ll have access to my online storefront to use that credit to easily order prints + art.
